The Sutton Museum launches the first Landscape and Garden contest, Vert Sutton , in conjunction with the exhibition: Evelyn Lambart: Great Film Maker & Passionate Gardener.

All Sutton residents and shop owners are invited to enter this free contest, as there are many prizes to be won.

Entry forms are available at the museum during opening hours*. Please enclose a maximum of 3 (three) 8 X 10 pictures of your garden with the entry form and deposit it at the museum between Saturday June 19 ^th and Sunday July 25 ^th . A jury of professionals will visit your garden, and visitors to the museum will also be able to vote for the entries from Friday July 30 to Sunday August 15 ^th . Prizes will be awarded on the Sunday, September 5, at 4:00 p.m.

The Evelyn-Lambart Awards

Three prizes will be given:

1. From the Professional jury for the most beautiful residential garden
2. From the museum visitors’ votes for the most beautiful residential garden
3. From the professional jury for the most beautiful shop owner garden

Among the prizes to be shared include: ( with more prizes to come )

• A rental certificate worth $450 from Max Gagné & Fils
• A gift certificate worth $400 from Jardins Paquette
• A gift certificate worth $350 from Arbocom , a tree maintenance service

All prizes must be accepted as awarded, and are neither exchangeable nor refundable.

*Opening hours are Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4:00 p.m., and on Friday June 25 ^th and all Fridays in July, during these same hours.
