Something About Wellastraight Cream

En route to Cape Horn

Tuesday, December 28, 2010

Hello!

Our new crew raced yesterday from Ushuaia to Cape Horn and Puerto Williams we rallied in the evening, thanks to a breeze from the west. This morning is the traditional ceremony of paper, and once we are in order, we will sail, probably towards the lovely village of Puerto Toro ... the southernmost village of the world.

We seem to get lucky with the weather, with days hot enough and in any case the coming days no major gale announced, which is rather good news because it should allow us to greet the Cape Horn in good conditions.

Our teammates are feasting in advance of shipping coming and our side, and although we are happy to revive this region that we are now so familère!

With that, I must leave because the military Chileans await me ... and we do not mess with the administration here!

Southern Greetings,

Merry Christmas to all! Back to civilization

Hello! While
we will soon start on Christmas Eve here, you must all be in the thick of it ... and I did think that the time was ripe to give you a little gift ... namely a selection of photos of our great crossing!
All is well for Paradise, which sits quietly in the company of a dock full of friends, with whom we wake up tonight, reassembling a large and beautiful family of sailors!
A big thank you to everyone who followed us in our journey, and I soon resumed the keyboard to tell you later with our next teammate, we'll take shortly to the Horn!
Very Merry Christmas to all!

Hello everyone!

First, excuse me for not giving you news earlier ... my apologies are necessarily bad, so I will not give you too ... But it turns out that for us sailors returning to civilization is accompanied by a massive degree, with quantities of material to find, repair, and reunions with friends, etc.. And in all this, mind you I have not found the time to connect to the Internet!

Finally, we have come to Ushuaia on Friday night after a wonderful journey, and our team members are leaving us one after the other, with no doubt about a head full of memories.

must say that I had not told you all our adventures on the blog as and when the crossing, what not to worry about, basically. But also serious gales we had an engine failure that made us afraid enough ... Indeed, while we were surfing the gigantic waves of the deep south, our engine started by itself (which is not already common !!!), then the starter was put in circuit court and heated, which was fatal. Fortunately, we had a replacement starter on board, so we repaired as soon as we returned in Magellan. The former starter is currently under revision, and our worries behind us now ...

The time is therefore the menus work as a boat, there is always something to do ... Our new crew members arrive Sunday, and by then everything will be ready and we're ready to go round the Horn, if the weather permits us this time!

Because for the record, our choice to go through the channels after crossing the Pacific instead of passing Cape Horn, as expected, and although it was a good idea, since Cape Horn, the day when we stayed at anchor in the channels, there was 140kN wind, a boat cast, another to the coast, and two deaths!

short, neatly tied, Paradise and his crew requinquent nicely in Ushuaia, and we begin to prepare for Christmas, that failing to spend with family going on here with the neighbors dock!

I am updating the photos soon, and say to you very soon!

Best Breasts Of Bollywood

music

We start the festivities a little early, just to make them last a little longer ...
After Christmas dinner in the canteen, it was decided to make small gifts between colleagues. Not much, just to mark the occasion.

small perforated kraft label
a band of masking tape brown ribbon Recycling silvery

The fate appointed me a musician (when it called Worn, we assume!), so I cobbled together a "guard workbook" linen for his scores. It is always useful to classify his scores ... we remarked at every rehearsal!

label printed with Fonts " lassus "And" pen "
Buffer giant stampabilities
new little toy ... and my man

If I find the time and that you're interested, I will perhaps not not to "protect workbook" linen. It's stupid, but still useful.

from 16/12 Edit: and I, I got a flowerpot chewable . A " salad flowers " based on concerns, blueberry, rose petals and dried. The idea to eat flowers at Christmas ... well I like

Peaceful channels in Cape

Tuesday, December 14, 2010

Hello!

I apologize for not having brought you news earlier, but I confess that tired, I have not found the time! We therefore entered the Strait of Magellan at dawn on Sunday in a mysterious atmosphere because of the fog surrounding. After 27 days at sea, it was strange to reconnect with the earth, my faith and not unpleasant to feel close to land again ...

Soon enough, the conditions have deteriorated, and the peaceful canal was dressed in cute little short waves, a strong wind pushing us at a brisk pace towards the east. Not enough to make us abandon the coveted anchor, we were all waiting with happiness after these last days a bit exhausting.

We rallied at the end après6midi of Sunday a very good shelter, Caleta Playa Parda, spectacular site where we have released the last 24 hours, the time to recharge our batteries a little, to heat the boat to dry out everything that has become wet gaily a moment ... and we are off again at dawn this morning.

Our next port is Puerto Williams, where we will have a clearance before reaching Ushuaia, and separate us from our fellow Sea last month. Navigation is now more comfortable with a boat that will finally rolls over in all directions, objects and people who do more than glides through the square ... a new stage begins, and asks us much less energy, which is still not bad!

that, I leave you and return to my maze of channels (I do not describe too much, because in view of the fog, there's not much to say)!

Greetings Magellan

Hello!

Well the fifties defend themselves body and soul to live up to their reputation, and given the alarming weather forecast over the area of Cape Horn on Monday, we have decided not to go around it. So we're currently heading for the Strait of Magellan, which is within 100 miles, and we quickly take refuge in a comfortable berth for some rest and let the wind blow.

The weather has somewhat started the morale and physique of the crew in recent days, and there are fewer and fewer candidates to go to the bar, which comes in clear to take a cold shower. We're 5 to play, the captain is off watch, and two crew too tired to hold the handlebars.

I assure you, it's not the big depression either, because Soon the idea of seeing the earth - well, soon it's not safe, seen as the sky is blocked - I was saying the idea of seeing the earth is a rather delightful prospect! Good, then even if we drool a bit, there are plenty of beautiful moments, laughs, contemplation, and enjoy browsing!

past two days, the approach of the earth is felt by the many birds that accompany us, enlivening their majestic flight of the gray skies and inhospitable around us! Tonight we'll be in calm waters, sheltered channels, what should we change the constant heckling that we live on board for a week now.

short, a new program has emerged for us, and the myth of the passage of the Horn thus replaces the beauty of the Chilean channels ... then it is not life grand?! I'm sure if ...

soon for following our adventures,

Greetings screaming (yes, 35-40 kn today!)

For over a year I expected to find the shade I was looking for ... This is when I went to Montmartre, I came over (long live the car show!): Tulle perfectly matched to gray-green of my Wisteria knitted last year.

Nathalie had suggested the idea of this ruffled petticoat, and since I had in mind. A pattern of actions, a little wool and lining the famous tulle slip and now this little skirt out of my head.

Thanks Nathan, I thought it was great to have a personal stylist, you leave it when you want it!

There would be some improvements, the problem is that I do not know how to solve these problems:
 • Like whenever I'm doing my skirt Lined it rotates. The zipper does not stay very long at center back. Is this a problem cutting? Matter? The steering wheel
 • tulle has a tendency to rise under the skirt when I walk. It is sewn on liner, which itself is taken into the seam of the large hem (as seen on the second photo). I have not tried without tights, but I do not care!
You would not by chance something to offer me to change it?
